After reading this thread: presearing.boards.net/thread/2908/mini-naga-mox-bday-dead I wanted to see what indeed is the highest damage Dead Bow you can get in pre. I dropped a 8-11 teal dead bow on my 3rd run to Skullreaver (Unid value of 8g).  The highest damage I've seen from a hidden stash (Northlands) was a 7-10, with a unid value of 5g. So Skullreaver (lvl5 boss) is the best target to get these. I'll keep on the farming and will let u know. What's the highest damage you have seen Lord? |

I do alot of catacombs runs during events. Highest I've seen is a 7-10. But I don't really pay attention to them. I will from now on however and keep ya posted. Correction:  |

So a 9-12 blue bow with an inscription would seem to be max! Maybe even 9-13.

7-10 from the lvl 3 raging cadavers.
8-11 from skullreaver.
9-12 bow from a lvl 5 seems a little weird. Even more so since it is not even blue.

Well if that's the case then where did the 9-12 come from?
Also, can Oakhearts drop 9-12 or 9-13 regular bows?
I know highest non req bows are 9-13, but don't know if they drop from Charr exclusively, or if they can drop from Oakhearts.

It likely came from skullreaver. Its just really high for not even being blue. I doubt oakhearts can drop above 8-11. Speculation on my part but I do skullreaver runs and 8-11 is upper tier for his drops. I would guess a 9-12 is like a 12-20 bow from charr bosses. Not impossible, just a fluke drop. |

We used to compete back in the day, Eastern, Suvvey and I ran it daily.
I think I may have an 8-12 or something in that range around too. I'll have to look sometime.
Note:I can certainly say i found blues to be significantly rarer than even mediocre high damage whites.
So a high damage blue Akara's is pretty cool.

Where is redfireball when you need him? For a 5lvl foe, the unid value range of the drops should be something like 4-8g (according to the first table here: guildwarslegacy.com/forum/thread/2271-the-research-thread-everything-about-drops/). Perhaps it could even be 4-9g, since at lvl 10 the rage stated is 8-16g (and there are confirmed 17g drops from Charr bosses now). That's why my Dead Bow was high in damage, it was a max value drop (but it could possibly go higher). We need the max damage range for items (mainly bow and axe, since dead bow and sephis axe are the desired drops) at the max unid value, i.e. 8g (or 9g). |

Here I am - tagging me always summons me  Absolutely correct on the range - recorded 4-8g at lvl5 could be 9. As you see on your stash research the top end is really unlikely! For the desired max ranges (8 and 9g respectively) my recorded maximums are: Axe 5-11 6-12 Bow 8-12 9-13 (so your bow is close ) Foc 6 6 Hammer 10-15 11-15 Shield 8 9 Staff 12/5/7-10 12/6/7-11 Sword 8-10 8-10 Wand 7-11 7-11 Armor 19 20 Seeing a 9-13 12^50 dead bow would be something! Happy hunting and keep up the data - check for unid values  |

Hi, I have been doing some skullreaver runs to check his drops. I got this white dead bow:  Which is 8-12 dmg at 7g. Is it possible that u get higher damage at 8g ( redfireball )? I haven't found a 9g drop after ~200 runs or so... |

That's quite helpful. Unid value right? So apparentl, 9-12 (maaaaybe 13) is the max damage for bow at 8g (and not 8-12 as red posted earlier in this thread). 8-12 is possibly the highest for 7g. I haven't seen a 9g drop from skullreaver (over 400 runs) so probably he maxes out at 8g.

But those are typically dropped by higher level charr, so what's the highest damage item that can come out of the catacombs? specifically Skullreaver, that goes for axes as well as bows. IS it possible to get a 9-13 bow or is 8-12 or 9-12 the highest, i seem to get a fair bit of 8-11's (comparatively) and that 9-12 is the only one i've seen like it, and that was hundreds of runs from 3 different individuals. it seems to me that 8-12 is much more common than finding for example an 11-19 or 12-19 bow from Charr, so is the drop rate simillar, in that a 9-12(or 9-13?) is the equivalent of finding a 12-20 from Charr? Ofcourse significantly less people farm Skullreaver than charr bosses. |
