(1) Recent Updates
2020-05-23: N>2220. Stopped documenting each kill, but "interesting" items will still be updated, such as an unid. 4g Idol with +5e.
2019-10-29: N=2220.
2019-10-23: N=2000. Halfs casting time of death/curses/blood (chance: 15%) is a thing.
2019-09-28: N=1355. After ~1250 kills, the first blue item worth 6g unid. has been dropped.
(2) Introduction
{Click here to read the introduction}
What's the purpose of slaying these low-level creatures? It started with an Iron-Challenge-kind-of-thing with a newly created Necromancer, where the toon is not allowed to use items he/she did not find himself/herself. The goal was to get decent Necromancer weapons from these cadavers before heading into the Northlands. After a while I started keeping track of what was dropping with the use of an Excel-sheet.
Basically it's the hunt for the best equipment possible in a given environment, just like we hunt charr on a daily basis, although there's better loot in post-searing. In addition, farming the Raging Cadavers goes hand in hand with farming Skullreaver and his mostly desired Dead Bows or Sephis Axes.
The gallery in the second post distinguishes between 5g and 6g items and their rarities. The goal is to find the maximum stats possible in each gold value.
You are welcome to contribute to this knowledge base by posting any special or high-end or otherwise interesting loot.
The collected data and resulting statistics will be updated every now and then, which you can see by increase of N=xxxx in the title.

(3) Findings & Assumptions
Listed here are the current max stats of weapons. Again, if you can contribute news in that matter, leave a message (and proof :-P)!
2h-Staff
- Halfs Skill Recharge (Chance: 11%), Energy: +5, Damage: 6-9
1h-Staff
- Damage 6-9
- Halfs Casting Time Of Curses/Blood/Death (Chance 15%)
Caster-Offhand
- Energy +5
Bow
- Damage: 7-11
Assumptions
The assumptions made here may be updated as the knowledge base grows.
- The maximum value of unidentified items (white and blue) is 6g.
- The highest gold coin drop so far is 12g. However, the distribution below suggests that there could be an infinitesimal low chance of 13g being dropped one day.
- The 2h-Staff stats [HSR11%, Energy +5, Dmg 6-9] are possibly not maxed, as exaclty these stats have been found on a 5g item. The 6g range maybe yields better results. Same can be assumed for the 1h-Staff. See the gallery below for confirmed drops.
- A 6g Dead Bow with Dmg 8-11 has been dropped by Skullreaver himself. One can assume, that this is a possible drop from a Cadaver too, although not confirmed yet. Highest confirmed damage range is 7-11 (see below).
