So today I had a very unusual drop - a staff with 15% hsr from a Charr Chaot! This is huge! I had no idea it was possible, and probably pretty much nobody else did, either. It could very well be as rare as a 16% hsr staff dropping from a boss.

Great find! I think the mods are somehow interconnected, i.e. at 12g you can get up to 15% HSR but with low energy and damage (or alternatively high energy with low HSR etc). I guess redfireball could confirm this?

sweet find I have had 15HSR prpl staves at 12g before, so far never in pre, but it´s just a very unlikely case - but as now proven - it happens! Great my data get´s more and more proven by actually hitting the extremes Akara, I have to disappoint you however on the interdependency part: I did also question it at some point and actually disproving is not so easy. But: I have done my homework and put it to the test: Each of the stats are independent from one-another. You can pretty clearly see it by looking at the stat ranges research thread on legacy: I purposedly kept the maximum occuring value of each stat in respect to their req with the other stats of the staff that beat the record in a certain category to keep track of just that issue. Also I updated if there was another one that hit the same value in the relevant category but was higher in one of the others. From current data there is barely anywhere a different staff listed - means for req2 we have a staff 15/7/8-13 which is top end on all categories and one 11/5/6-10 which is lowest in each category. Means: the stats are not correlated - but getting a staff that meets all the limits on each stat is very very unlikely compared to getting one that is on the edge on just one value e.g. And no, ishalldefend a 16HSR from boss should be even rarer
