With the Forum Avatars & the Holiday Smileys, EVERY member has the choice of whether or not to use them.
Not EVERY member celebrates Christmas, or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa etc. (the list is never~ending.)
Therefore, adding any holiday overtones to the banner would remove that right to choice.
We will not "force" our celebrations onto members who do not see things as we do.
Our Banner is the embodiment of life in Pre-searing Ascalon!
Except for the random seasonal drops from foes (suggesting more is out there),
it is a place barely touched in the ravages of time.
Peaceful and Serene, it remains to this day removed from the cares of this mortal world,
whether those cares be religious, political or otherwise.
Our Banner is a representation of that carefree life,
and as such, is perfect just the way it is .
In it's beautiful simplicity, it respects the diverse nature of ALL of our members!
Thank you All for understanding this, and...

Tbh, I didn't expect it to be used for anything, I just saw traders comment in the shoutbox. It's nice you made him into a forum avatar and I understand the reasons for not wanting to change the banner.
In case anyone is wondering I don't use photoshop since my pc I had it on needs a new power supply and possibly other stuff since a storm some months ago. I use an app just called 'Photo Editor' by dev mcgyver in the play sore, it's free (with small ads) or there is a cheap ad removal one time payment, which I made about 6 yrs ago, and the app still gets consistent updates. I had tried adobes mobile apps which at the time were bloated and unstable on my devices, photo editor ran well and kept adding many features that were useful but kept the app size small. The fact the dev was open to suggestions was also a plus, he added a few suggestions I made and is actually a pretty funny guy to converse with.

And I did see Trader's question, but I got sidetracked with infidelmikey's 3 accounts.   Then I just plain forgot animated-smileys-embarrassed-56 ...
