I ain't trying to run around with Rurik for 300 hours to get to level 10. So here's an alternative to 9 for Monks and secondary Monks. You're on your own after that. Need to get the quest "Bandit Raid" from Baron Eagan in Ascalon, and "Protection Prayers" from Grazden the Protector in Green Hill County. Grazden's next to a rez shrine just past the Balthazar shrine. It takes about 2-3 hours to get to level 9, and you get Belts, Dyes, and Red Iris Flowers. You could also salvage a few swords or something for Iron Ingots to get the Rinblade, and turn the Bandit Raid quest in for the Charr Shield. Each run is like, 30 seconds. Here's all that I got from the farm to 9.

In my opinion, not that it's exactly "valuable" This is an awesome point. One of the main reasons I admit to like it is because the monk does not get enough fair tries in pre. Currently running a Mo/E in pre and absolutely LOVING it, and yes, I love being able to avoid that Charr at the Gate quest as much as possible hahaha. Kudos for the video m8.

This was/is also the place I farmed most of my event items as well provided you don't turn the quests in. On my former main account I had a 4-year old E/Mo forever at level 9 who did just that. Other than getting him a Fire Rune and a headpiece, there was no investment. To date, out of thousands of Charr runs over 14-years, he probably made me the most gold in Pre. Throw on some music, turn your brain off, bust out an energy drink, and go nuts.

I can't count how many times I've suggested to people to take a break from "rushing" to LDoA and just relax, farm something, and make sure your having fun and not killing your brain cells lol
