Greetings everyone.
I consider myself a pretty big nerd in Guild Wars. I have made countless characters, and I'm coming up with some kind of short story for them, which makes it even more fun to play them. Thought it might be fun for some of you to post your own stories of your character. I'm definitely looking forward to see what others may come up with!

I'll start it off with mine... And I do apologize if it's badly written or anything, but English is not my first language. ^^Luna GravelynKasha Blackblood was walking the dark passages of the Catacombs. There had been several reports of attacks on Ascalonians. Not that they would often come down here, but someone had to keep the candles lit to honor the fallen. Lately though, the people performing that menial task had been under attack by something more than a few rattling, undead bones. All they remember, were a pair of milky white eyes from the shadows, before they lost consciousness. When they came to, they had some strange teeth marks on their bodies.
Examinations on the victims showed a similar effect to what ‘Vampiric Bite’ could do. The teeth marks, the fainting which was likely caused by loss of life force… The attacks weren’t too severe and healed fast, but the spirits were getting even more restless. Since Kasha had the most expertise in Blood Magic, The Order asked her to investigate the matter. She thought it would be best to catch the aggressor in the act, and therefore asked necromancer Munne for the Votive Candles.
She managed to replace the candles without any real issues, apart from the nuisance of the swamp water and a few undead cadavers. A bit disappointed, she delved deeper into the Catacombs, squeezing through some narrow passages, until her path crossed a small devourer nest. She ignored the tiny critters, as they were no threat (yet). Amused she thought of the time she caught Duke Gaban here, hunting for eggs.
While her thoughts were distracted, two eyes peeked from the shadows. Kasha felt her life force being taken by the 'Vampiric Gaze’. As the Blood Magic specialist, she returned the favor with her own. She felt replenished. Her Blood Magic was a lot stronger. Her enemy recognized this, and ran into the shadows from where it came. Kasha quickly casted 'Life Siphon’, before she hastily went into pursuit.
A few moments later, the wild chase came to an end as her hex spell did its work. Her enemy had collapsed under the effects. It was too dark to see. Kasha improvised a torch from nearby dead branches. The light revealed a silhouette far smaller than she had anticipated. She bended over and started to investigate. It was tangible, so it was no wraith or any other nightmarish creature, which were not uncommon in the Catacombs. She turned the body around and was astonished when the face of a little girl was revealed.
The girl felt cold as ice. Kasha checked on her eyes, which were white with no pupils. She recognized the signs immediately: the girl was possessed. Kasha carried her back to the devourer nests, and killed a few of the beasts. A few seconds later, two bone minions arose from their corpses. A foul stench arose of decaying flesh. “My pets, you will deliver a message for me to Munne and Oberan. Tell them to meet me… in the Ritual Chamber.”
Moments later, the three necromancers gathered in the room. It was filled with candles, spreading an uncomfortable warmth through the place and casting eerie shadows upon the walls. Sculptures of gargoyles threatened the room with their presence. The girl was placed in the middle, and the necromancers formed a triangle around her, hand in hand. They started muttering strange and devilish spells. The words of power forced the evil spirit out of the girl’s body, back to the underworld from which it came. Blurred and vague they saw it being dragged away, trying to claw its way back, but eventually succumbing to the greater powers.
The girl moaned silently, and opened her eyes. Kasha saw to her relief that the pupils had returned. The eyes were now grey and beautiful. She had platinum blonde hair, and an innocent look that she quite missed during her time being possessed. “Where am I?” she asked with a cute, but shaky voice. She was shivering, despite the heat in the room. “Easy, child.” Said Kasha. “Your body and mind were possessed by a spirit. But we managed to drive it away.”
“What is your name?” Munne asked. “I’m Luna.” “Luna who?” “I don’t remember…” she started tearing up as her horrible memories came back to her. “I followed my daddy down the stairs, somewhere in this dark place. He told me to stay home, but I didn’t want to be alone. He cut his hand and started saying strange words. Something was there… And it started to hurt him! I started screaming and ran as fast as I could...” she started crying.
“Ah, so that’s what happened to my novice…” Necromancer Munne said pondering. Kasha ignored her. She hugged Luna and tried to console her. “Where is your mother?” she asked. “Mommy died a long time ago.” “We will find you a new home, child.” Oberan said. “The orphanage welcomes those without parents.” “No!” Kasha exclaimed. She stood up and looked at both Munne and Oberan. “She has been through enough. The orphanage is too harsh for her.” She looked at Luna, who was still crying. “She’s coming with me,” she said hesitantly, after a moment of silence.
It was five years later. Luna started to blossom into a fine young woman. She was now aged thirteen. As she didn’t recall her last name, they decided to name her ‘Gravelyn’. Lyn after her mother, and Grave after her father, the fallen novice necromancer, Lygrave. She was taught Blood Magic by her adoption mother Kasha Blackblood, Death Magic by Necromancer Munne and the art of Curses by Oberan the Reviled. Luna was pretty powerful, and contributed to the community of Ascalon by helping the residents. Despite her young age, she even went along a few missions with the vanguard. Her dark history was far behind. She was full of hope for a brighter future...
