Mine would have to be Prophecies. Something about the nature of it all just struck me as endearing, especially with how the setting changes so frequently and in sometimes jarring ways. That, and the Mursaat were actually one of my favorite parts of the campaign, especially the siege of the Jade Fortress in Hell's Precipice. Perhaps, as well, I'm just Ascalonian at heart.
What about you? Which campaign struck a cord with you and why?

I have to agree. Prophecies is also my favorite. I loved the story line and how the journey took you through all the different parts of Tyria. The missions and bonuses were each separately and uniquely designed--unlike so many of the missions in Factions and Nightfall which were just "Do it faster!" But most of all I loved the serene music in presearing. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of when I started playing GW in 2005.
Factions? I hated the twisty, maze of a city that is K.C. and that you were stuck there for an eternity before you could venture out into Kurzick and Luxon areas. I also disliked the very fast ramp up in difficulty--Prophecies was much more paced. Finally, I disliked that I could not solo all of the missions--Eternal Grove begged you to have 2 players to guard the separate gates.
Nightfall? This probably had my second favorite campaign and story line. And I absolutely loved the introduction of heroes, a major boon for solo players (and now sadly a necessity because of the lack of people actually playing). However, it clearly falls a distant second behind Prophecies for me. It cannot compete on the nostalgia front with pre. Also, it shares Factions demand for 2 players, at least for tagging both runners in Moddock Crevice for the bonus. Finally, I hated the Realm of Torment--impossible to map, and I often had to consult Wiki on what outpost to leave to do quests.
Eye of the North? Okay, I acknowledge that it's not a campaign, but we really don't have much else to talk about. I loved the introduction of norn and asura. Some of the new skills were nice. And it gave us more heroes, which is also nice. For me dungeons were neither positive nor negative. They were interesting at first, but after doing all of them, I really had no desire to repeat them. The downsides were that it was short (which is why it is an expansion instead of a campaign) and that it introduced one gazillion unique collectible drops. Really, did such a short game with so few areas really need to introduce so many new drops by creatures? The game would have been fine with just a few.

Prophecies for me two, partly because it was the first for me, I guess. I loved the map, the vast areas not connected to the missions. I liked the freedom to roam or run, independent of the missions. The slow pace of levelling suited me, and aquiring skills through quests. Memories of the elite areas which still aren't familiar to me. I liked Nightfall for its end stories that completed and explained the stories introduced in Prophecies. I love everything about heroes, but I'm glad they weren't around at the beginning. Glf monk. Hah...memories!

Prophecies, by far, it's still the only one i feel nostalgia in doing, which is weird considering i fully completed NF first, but regardless, Proph is where i started and i like the landscapes the best, not going to lie, NF i found bland and constantly more of the same, and Factions, i hated city, while the ideas were all neat, even the Jade sea looked bland, but i did really like the echovald forest and Shing Jae, it just didn't meet Prophecies standards in my eyes.

I forgot to mention, I was wrapt when I found the path from the Arid sea to the Nightfall corner.Thinking about it, it's probably years since I've been outside the prophecies lands.

Prophecies though I suppose this forum is a little biased. I do like Factions but the sheer volume of different environments in Prophecies is what holds me there.

prophecies due to the southern shiverpeaks.
getting lost and swallowed by the vastness of this inhospitable tundra and the oh-so-fitting soundtrack... it has a recreating effect on me. if you ever made your way up to the ice imps in mineral springs you ought to feel it.

I won't break the monotony. Prophecies is my favourite too and for reasons already mentioned in posts. Mainly the design and the nostalgia.

Prophecies ofc, wish I'd bought collectors edition when the game first came out!
