Hello my friends.
I first want to say that this community has been here for me through thick and thin. I've been through a hell of a roller coaster in this life, and through it all, I have made some of my best friends here. People that I call/text or pm before my own family when I need a ear. When I have some big news, it's shared here with the GW community before anywhere else. I have a history of MIA periods in the years, and every time I come back, its to the same love that I received before making me feel like I was never away.
The reality of it all is that even though players may or may not be miles apart, on other sides of the world and such, Arena Net has made a game that brings us ALL together from all facets of life. I've seen the good and the bad through Guild Wars and I've heard people say that the game is dying, but I am here to assure you that this community is in no way dead. I firmly believe that while there are periods in everyone's' lives where they have to take care of things in life, the reality is that Guild Wars provides exactly what we need. That relaxing break from reality where we can still be ourselves, but take a break from the stress and meet friends, kill things, get rich, or for whatever other reasons we all play.
This game has shown that it is still an amazing F2P MMO and for that reason, I firmly believe that we, as a community, will always thrive.
I always want to point out that the staff here are always available if you need a listening ear, and we all want the same thing. We want our community to remain a community where there is happiness, joy, companionship and overall, a place where everyone feels loved. I've seen the fair share of trolls in the game as we all have. I've seen the rotten apples of the orchard and it just reminds me that nothing is perfect. Can't have all the good without the bad, cause the bad just helps us appreciate the good even more.
In my time here, I have learned that my friendships hold more value than my in game currency and that bringing happiness to a player, to me at least, is more enjoyable than becoming rich, and for that, there have been times where I have given things away and gotten scammed by others wanting to make a profit on those items. The key is to just not let it get to you. Never let a bad experience affect how you treat the good people of the game. The best way to stop a heated argument is to not reply, and the best way to stop a troll is by not feeding them lol...
I will always be here for you guys. No matter what. I love you all, and hope that everyone stays safe through this topsy turvy world we live in. If anyone needs a friend or someone to talk to, I'll be here.
Take care <3

** on a loving side note, I do put players that ask constantly for freebies on my ignore list **
