Please excuse if this is in the wrong area: the forum interface is a bit confusing.
So I joined a guild a few weeks ago. It turns out that both the guild and its alliance are Luxon.
My account's Kurzick title is six and Luxon title is zero. I took years & years to get to six: I'm a bit lazy and slow when it comes to working on titles. I can only work on one, and years ago I had to make a decision of one or the other to work on, if only for the faction skills. I ended up picking Kurzick.
Over the years I've been in both Kurzick and Luxon guilds and it's never been a big deal. I've even been in guilds where they switched the alliance.
The alliance I am in now has active moments, more so than in previous guilds. They actually do stuff and ask on chat if anyone wants to join. Wow! For instance: the other day I was asked if I wanted to join in for "MQ." "What's that," I asked, "main quest?"
Turns out it's Mount Qinkai, a location in Luxon lands.
So here are my two questions.
One: I know the NPCs in Kurzick & Luxon lands give me a hard time if I'm not in their faction. If I'm in a group that's Luxon, doing quests or whatever in a Luxon area, does the whole group get crap from the bounty NPC because of me, or just me? Or instead, does being in the group make it so that I'm considered OK?
Two: will making Luxon points mess up my Kurzick title level?
ok, so Here is what I can point out and hope it helps your situation, To benefit your alliance and you luxon title, you are probably aware that you must donate that faction. Let's say you get the 5k faction to donate. When you go to donate it you will lose the undonated faction for kurzick. Normally this is not an issue. You don't lose your kurzick rank either. Basically you will be able to increase your luxon rank now, but you wont be able to increase your kurzick rank since you wont be able to donate the faction properly.
