The Snipping Tool which is available in Windows make it very fast and easy to take a screenshot of a specific part of the screen, which is helpful for taking pictures of items for buy/sell/price check threads, etc. I would estimate it to be at least 3 times faster than using the normal screenshot button (for something that you would normally have to crop). Let me know if you have any questions! The guide: 1. Open the Snipping Tool by searching for it in the Windows search bar (it can be helpful to pin the tool to the taskbar for quick access).
I used the Snipping Tool to take a screenshot of the Snipping Tool!
2. Select "New" and then click and drag to select the area that you'd like to screenshot. You can change the shape or size of the snip in the "Mode" menu (I find rectangular most useful).
-You can also input a delay before the screenshot mode will activate in the "Delay" menu, to give yourself time to hover over an item. -Consider unchecking the box marked "Show screen overlay when Snipping Tool is active" in the "Options" section, for increased visibility. -The keyboard shortcut for initiating a snip is win+shift+s (win being the Windows key). If you use this, you won't need to add a delay.
3. Open Paint, press control+v, and save!
