No real changes to the gameplay. Almost anything you add will change the Pre we all love and cherish. But just add some more incentive to go out of Ascalon. For example: (pre) Vanguard title. (shout out to the Vanguard Challenge on this forum, try it if you haven't, it's a lot of fun) Every time you hand in a completed vanguard quest, you get credits towards the title. Another way of earning credits to this title would be to clear ALL of the vanguard foes that spawn in the area (Mini pre 'vanquish')

-Picken Square so you wouldnt have to run from Ascalon to NL all the time. -4x4 already mentioned Armor Skins -Warrior and Ranger Charr boss that actually drop something -NL expanded to other areas that are cut off by gates and hills atm -A tablet (something like 10 sacraments type of thing) that explain why max dmg for axe in post is 6-28 and in pre its 7-19 -Assassin, Ritualist, Dervish and Paragon as playable classes or at least foes with one of those classes -A mission expander (bonus pack) that lets you play as one of the guards defending the wall from the invading charr just before the searing -Death Penalty

Oooh Gorm MorgYou would add a Death Penalty? That would be cool, it would add some difficulty to LDoA for players not used to pre or GW. I think that's a cool idea. Anyone else behind it?

Anyone else behind it? unnecessary change. If increased difficulty was the goal, making vanguard initiate only affect vanguard foes would be more useful. They could improve the variety on the vanguard foes too.

I actually had 4 leaf clovers/ candy canes and other DP lifters in mind when I said Death Penalty... they would actually have some use in Pre then. But it would add some difficoulty to pre for players not doing VQ anymore, every mistake in NL would be a disaster for someone who has run out of DP lifters. Or make NL something close to a dungeon, removing Rez Shrine so every time you die you tp back to Ascalon for example.

Add in a Death Penalty and have VQ buff only work against vanguard fees, however I fear it might be too late, if these were implemented on release of the quests, it would have kept some rarity to the title (atleast In the sense that there isn't so many people with 20-30 LDoA's)

Not sure if someone mentioned it but if not then I was thinking of max pre weapons vendor for a stack of black dyes each. Tho on the other hand it might kill the purpose of farming for some people, what you guys think?

LDoA-Only VG Quest titled "Timeless Preparation" which enables:
chests [drops random items like ZChests, but limited to items specifically balanced for Pre] keys tougher enemies and bosses golds [1% chance dropping; from bosses only] greens [bosses only; subpar stats; nothing compared to golds and/or purples] purples [from all enemies] weapons would keep their current non-max stat ranges tomes and e.tomes [1% chance dropping for e.tomes; bye-bye glitch black market] ...and more!

That would be sweet if something new and exciting dropped in pre likes tomes, no need for elites but even the regular ones would get people farming again... But I say make it a 0.0001% chance to keep it tough and exciting, also it won't flood the market and still make it worth farming even after a long time

Or maybe instead of tomes, the quest giver can also grant some added Pre-selected skills that make sense and are fun and useful. Maybe even some pre-searing exclusive normal skills as well as one elite skill [similar to anniversary skills]; nothing overpowered, just some useful skills. I'll give an example idea of an elite elementalist skill below. Elementalist: Elemental Knowledge [Elite Enchantment Spell (Energy Storage)] (25...53...60 seconds.) Your elemental attributes are increased by +0...1...1. You gain 30% of the Energy cost of any Air, Earth, Fire, and Water Magic skills you use, and are healed for 5...10...15 each time you cast a spell.. 10e 1s cast time 20s recharge. Just an idea. Thoughts?
