B. Banter in Market Threads is not permitted. Please use the forum General Discussion Board or messaging for this activity.
Any posts that are not offer related to the particular trade thread will be removed.
C. Bumping of your trade thread is permitted, but only after 48 hours has passed with no responses.
Bumping earlier will result in that post being removed. This includes non trade chatter for the benefit of bumping.
Any member proven to have used our trade board for scamming will be permanently banned.
This includes but is not limited to:
A. Exchanging money for real world items.
B. Exchanging money for in-game items.
C. Exchanging accounts.
D. Any trade that breaks Guild Wars EULA
The screenshot must show both the item(s) in the sellers inventory and the character's name as proof of ownership.
Administration reserves the right to request that a screenshot be posted on any thread in the Market area.
If the member does not comply with such a request, the trade thread will be removed from the Market Boards.
This will greatly reduce the chance of being scammed.
If a forum member requests verification of an IG bid, the seller may comply by either:
A. Providing the bidders name along with their bid in the sales thread, or...
B. If the IG bidder wishes to remain anonymous, providing the info to a staff member for verification.
Abuse of bidding and fake or edited bids, in an attempt to raise the price of an item,
Will be dealt with appropriately on a case by case basis.
11. A Blacklist has been created to alert members to the character identity of known scammers.
Known scammers will not be permitted access to this forum.
If you have been scammed, and that scam directly links to a trade post listed on this forum, please contact an administrator.
Please submit a screenshot or any other proof that you may have along with your complaint.
Administration cannot take action based alone on he said/she said statements.
While we cannot guarantee any recompense for your losses, We can and Will deal with the offender.
13. Links promoting fundraising, advocacy, etc. are not permitted.
14. No posts regarding research studies, surveys, or clinical trials without prior approval from the forum administrator.
15. No posts of copyrighted material, lengthy articles, or posts of an overtly political or religious nature.
16. If you are a medical professional, please refrain from using the forums to distribute professional medical advice and/or promote your services.
17. Links to personal blogs/homepages are allowed in member profiles and signatures.
Do not ask for personal information from others.
This is to protect your security and identity, and the security and identity of other members.
If you plan to post more than one image, or the topic is based on graphics, please link the images rather than screening.
If your signature image is larger than the allotted size given, you will be requested by a moderator to resize it.
Please also keep text signatures under 5 lines.
Posts may be deleted for any reasons the forum administrators deem reasonable.
Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly.
Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via PM.
If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their positions to the forum admin.
The forum admin will make or change any and/or all final decisions.
This is necessary to keep contests and games fair to all members of the community.
We reserve the right to merge or delete multiple accounts.
If you wish to change your user name, you can do so through the Change Display Name option in your user control panel.
Before posting a new topic, please check to see if there is already a topic open on the subject.
Please refrain from posting the same question in several forums.
There is normally one forum which is most suitable in which to post your question.
Remember to post in the correct forum.
Take your time to look at other topics and see where your topic should go.
If your topic is placed in the wrong forum, it will be moved by a moderator.
Keep posts family friendly. If it shouldn’t be viewed by minors, then it shouldn’t be posted.
