Oh sure, that's great for rust and stuff... What about when it freezes up though? (You know, when your tongue sticks to it)

Thought I'd give you guys a real good laugh! I set up the last of my entertainment center today. I already had the Tuner & Cassette Deck (yes, I still play cassettes) and CD player set up. Today I got to my Turntable (Gotta play Handel's Messiah at Christmas!), My DVD/VHS Player and my PS2 (yes, I only like certain games and they're on PS2) As I was hooking up the Playstation to the monitor I use for it, I started laughing and immediately thought of you guys... This little gem is what I play Tetris, Darkstone & Baldaurs Gate on. In case you don't recognize it, you probably weren't born yet when it came out!!! It's a Commodore 64 Monitor that I had with my first husband. We used it as a gaming computer monitor back in the 80's. When we divorced he was so generous he kept the TV ~ but let me have this to hook up our daughter's cable box to. He no longer has that TV, but this little bugger is still running just fine!!! Thought you'd all get a laugh out of a 35 year old Monitor that's still purring along! Like I said, they just don't make things like they used to!!! Here's a link to a better pic I found online, (with a brief history): www.jax184.com/projects/1702/1702.htmlAnd..FYI, they're still selling on E-Bay!!!

Seriously, if you're still rocking cassette tapes, you need to open a business. Lyn's Resurrtechtion Stone
People send you their outdated equipment. You put it under your pillow (if it's small) under your bed (if it's big) or in your basement (if it's a truckload of inventory - like if you partner with retro gaming stores). Anyway, you just leave it there til it starts working and BAM! you're rolling in Benjamins! Just go to a Goodwill or garage sale, buy some crappy 8-track player or etch-a-sketch that isn't working and try it. What would Franklin think of that?

I said if you take care of your own things. (Keyword) They must start out new, and be taken care of from the beginning. I don't buy other peoples problems... The "magic" is in being kind to and taking care of your own tools and equipment... You're so damned cute with all of these names though... You could open up a business yourself...
