For it's age... I mean it's old, but it's not a dinosaur! A laptop is officially "old" between 3-5 years (The range depends on what level tech it was built with.)5-7 years is geriatric. 7-9 years is prehistoric. 9-10 years... is... "sands of time" for all I could imagine so 13 years leaves me out of terms. You definitely deserve some next-level respect though... imho. And that makes you my new hero!

LMAO, Thank you, Thank you! If you think the computer age is amazing consider this... I had 3 Dwarf Hamsters that lived 6 years, and a gerbil that lived for 7 years. I used to walk around the house with them sleeping in my shirt pocket. I also had a cat that lived for 22 years, he didn't fit in my pocket though!! I forget how old the goldfish got, but they were pretty old too. And, they loved to be petted. If you put your hand in the tank they'd swim through your fingers. We used to hand feed them in the tank like Koi. Even my Pleco got ancient...and huge!!! He was 18 inches long when he finally died. (He was only an inch or so when we got him ) His name was Spot (get the joke?) Just Love what you have, and it WILL last!

We had him and the golds (who were also huge) in a Marineland 30 gallon, 36" Long. Just before he died we were looking at a nice 40 gal long. It would have given him an extra foot. Our stand was a beautiful solid teak cabinet that could hold up to 55" in length. The golds were close to 10 years old, so after Spot they went 1 by 1 starting with Nemo. After them we didn't have the heart for more fish so we gave the aquarium away. That was a loooooong time ago though... She gets all of our Love and Attention now!

...about a 2 1/2 week issue... In the interest of full disclosure... Yesterday, I checked my email on Chrome and saw a thread update. When I clicked on the link from within my email, it took me to the page on Presearing boards. To my great astonishment, the page opened up perfectly. "Aha!" I exclaimed "it WAS the avatar thing."So I clicked on the home page and got the same bologna Chrome's been giving me. I'm no slouch when it comes to computers or technology, but this thing's a stumper. (On the bright side, I'm really warming up to the new Firefox browser - it's 57.0.1)Now got that stupid song in my head "Torn Between Two Browsers"

wipe chromes cache under chrome://settings > advanced > clear browsing data and reload the page, chrome is lading it fine for me atm That was one of my first moves. The only thing I haven't tried is uninstalling the browser entirely (or at least resetting it). I'd rather just continue with two browsers than have to re-tweak Chrome back to where I have it now - more grief than it's worth.
