I have gone to post with my LDoA mesmer in order to play through all of the campaigns on hard mode. To do this I have first run to LA, then gone to boreal station to get myself max armor. From now on, I will play exclusively on hard mode. If you are interested in joining on these missions, leave a reply with your IGN and the class you want to play. Then we can add each other and try to do as many missions as possible with full or near-full groups. Everyone is welcome to join!!!
These people have shown interest in doing the missions together:
Isseya Jin - Mesmer (lvl 20) Cecilic Warfare - Warrior (lvl 20) Kyra Valius - Monk (lvl 20) Mrkva Gusara - Necromancer (lvl 20, Nightfall only) M E I R
The Great Northern Wall Team: Isseya Jin - Healer henchman - Mage henchman - Ranger henchman
Nobody was online so I went ahead and gave this mission a go with henchmen, which was surprisingly easy. I guess it's just the first mission in the campaign after all. Just like in pre, Empathy made quick work of the many physical enemies in this mission.
Fort Ranik - Ruins of Surmia - Nolani Academy Team: Isseya Jin - Bloody Alyp - Mesmer Hero - Monk Hero
I made an attempt at Fort Ranik with henchmen and it turned out to be far more challenging than the first mission. Keeping Armin Saberlin alive for bonus wasn't easy and Charr Stalkers did loads of damage to my henchmen with their Ignite Arrows. I decided to resign and ask my guild for help. Bloody Alyp joined me and brought his Unyielding Aura monk hero and his Panic mesmer hero. Bloody Alyp was playing Ranger, using a Signet of Spirits build. Save for a few deaths on the heroes, everything went by smoothly and we ended up doing the remaining three ascalon missions.

I´m currently doing gwamm on my necro (ldoa) but i m out of pre for a long time on that character. However i still need to complete nightfall in hm. Still need to VQ basically everything there and have a lot of missions in hardmode to do. I got all heros, am not shy of popping consets, if you make it there tell me! More fun to do this with regular people than with npcs
Il join you guys till you reach LA and then if you decide to go on and do NF with me i´m glad, if not i d just let you continue to do proph since i don t really wanna do the rest of that again^^
Today I went to post, ran myself to LA and from there did the quest to reach Boreal Station, where I bought max armor. An alliance member gave me some tomes. I am ready to start a Prophecies HM playthrough, anyone willing to group up should let me know so I can add them to my FL.
I plan to leave pre searing with my mesmer when I get to level 20. I will then complete all the campaigns. Since we come out of pre already max level, I thought it would be funny to start playing on hard mode immediately, and eventually have a character that has evertyhing completed in hard mode and nothing completed in normal mode.
I'm wondering if anyone would be interested to join something like this? Ideally we'd have full teams because it won't be an easy task (but we aren't limited to just LDoAs, we can also fill up teams with regular players).
I don't have a planned starting date, nor do I have a schedule that tells us when and how much we'll play. I think we'll just try to do as many missions together as we can, but we probably won't play all the missions with the same party exlusively. If someone falls behind due to being offline, they might have to catch up/we can replay a mission to help them catch up.
Let me know if you are interested, which class you'll play and what level you currently are/how soon you expect to be lvl 20. Ideally we will have at least 1 monk and not too many of the same class.
Note: This is open to everyone, even if you still have to create your character!!! With the vanguard quests, Ldoa has become pretty easily attainable and if you have some free time to spare, you can easily catch up to us. (for reference, I have 25 hours playtime on my level 17 mesmer - so don't let this dissuade you from creating a character, the grind isn't nearly as long as it used to be!)
I like the idea Love, but don't you have to complete a campaign with at least 1 character on your account before you can HM? Maybe want to check it out and see if you can set to HM. For the sake of fun, I sure do hope that I am wrong!
